We believe in traditional Christian values, follow Jesus’ example of sacrificial love, and have a Spirit-filled modern sense of adventure. We value really getting to know people and love connecting and sharing food, especially breakfast at church on a Sunday morning (free and fabulous!). We believe God is VERY creative, and the Sunday service emphasizes interactive learning and memorable ‘out of the box’ illustrations, which help us grasp timeless truths and eternal wisdom. The Gospel brings peace between God and humanity (Romans 5:1), between one another (Ephesians 2:14), and redemption to all who will live by faith (Isaiah 54:4-5). As a community together, we seek to be connected as we love God, love others, and are loved (Mark 12:30-31).

Richard and Sue started The Connection Church in their home in May 2014 with six other amazing pioneer adults and four kids! After a few months, the small group rented B.A.S.E. in Braintree to facilitate Sunday services. God added to our number, and after saving for 10 years, we are thankful to Jesus that the church purchased 440 Webster St., Rockland, in April 2024. And the journey continues as the Lord builds His church!

Chris and Marisa are in the process of becoming Assistant Pastors and are amazingly gifted at loving people.

John and Debby are always available to offer wonderful hospitality. John is part of the A/V team, and Debby is the Kids' Ministry Director. She is an extra gift as she works professionally in the field.​

Richard and Sue serve as Lead Pastors. Richard is a physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. They emigrated from London, England, to the South Shore of Boston in 1997, sensing a call from God to come to the United States and make it their home. They count it a privilege to lead The Connection Church family. Sue is also the Area Pastor for the Boston Metro area.

We have an incredible Church Council that assists with the stewardship of the church's financial responsibilities and property. Our elected members are Cathylee Maser, Sue Mastrangelo, Linda Reera and Bill Washwell.
